This code example shows how to program the latched fault operation in the dsPIC33FJ SMPS family.

About this Code Example

This code example shows how to program the latched fault operation in
the dsPIC33FJ SMPS family.
Comparator 1 (CMP1A, pin 21) is used as the comparator input.
A high value on this pin triggers the latched fault operation. As a consequence the PWM
output is disabled. The output remains disabled until a logic high level on pin
RB8 - pin 41 - is applied. This will restart the pwm operation.
Pin RC3 is driven high when the system has detected a latched fault event; the pin is
driven low again when the system exits latched fault (high level on pin RB8).
